The centre for Candian Drug Research and Development (CDRD) facilitates the commericalization of university research and hence has strong ties with both industry and universities. It is considered a bridge between academia and industry with regard to bringing the successes of research conducted in university labs to the general public. CDRD offers training programs, internships and opportunities for post-doctoral fellows.
Bridge for Engineering, Science and Technology Talent (BESTT) is a not-for-profit program that connects professionals to industrial and high tech companies. BESTT works with industry, government and universities to help professionals with advanced degrees find fulfilling career paths. They offer career coaching, internships, mentorships, recruitment events and networking opportunities.
