The Alberta Nanotechnology Symposium will be on February 7, 2014 at the University of Alberta Campus. The aim of the symposium is to collaborate and development nanotechnology research. Both oral and poster presentation opportunitites are available. Registration is $10 which includes lunch and the banquet. Abstracts are being accepted until January 17, 2014.
The Association of Canadian Universities for Northern Studies helps to promote research and education in Canada’s North. They are active in providing researchers with funding and colloboration opportunities through their conferences, scholarships and network.
The Insight Data Science Fellows Program is a six-week training program for PhD students and Postdoctoral Fellows who are interested in merging academia and data science. The aim of the program is to teach researchers how to apply analytical skills to big data. Full scholarships are available for successful applicants.
